Kimberly has been recognized by Texas Monthly magazine as a "Texas Rising Star Super Lawyer" in both 2004 and 2005. Her career began in 1997, after she graduated from Texas Tech Law School. During her twelve-year career, Kimberly has gained extensive experience in civil defense litigation, trying cases in both Texas state and federal courts. She has also prosecuted and defended appeals in Texas courts of appeal and in the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
As a native of West Texas, Kimberly received both her accounting and law degrees from Texas Tech University. She initially stayed in West Texas and practice with McMahon, Tidwell, Hansen, Atkins and Peacock in Odessa, Texas, and then moved to Dallas in 2000, where she joined the defense litigation firm Grau & Bassett. Kimberly joined Uloth & Peavler, L.L.P. in early 2004 and became a director of The Peavler Group in 2008.
Kimberly's primary area of practice is civil defense litigation. Specifically, she handles cases involving general liability and nonsubscriber claims of premises liability, products liability, defamation, and wrongful death. Kimberly also has extensive experience in trucking accidents, insurance coverage and bad faith claims. Kimberly has published papers on several topics ranging from expert evidence to handling "The Big Case."
Through her experience, Kimberly has learnd that, in addition to accessibility for clients, the key to effective representation is aggressive, effective advocacy. In keeping with the spirit of The Peavler Group's philosophy, Kimberly diligently seeks pre-trial disposition of cases and is instrumental in The Peavler Group's successes in obtaining summary judgments and forced dismissals.
